My Comment:
Despite of the ordinary plot, Melissa Leo and Christian Bale grabbed oscars for their performance. I must admit, I was surprised by Christian Bale with his appearance which was stunning. However, I still don't know why this movie got nominated for best picture. It was so ordinary compared with other nominated movies. Overall, it's only good but not extraordinary.

My Comment:
I like to watch theatrical acts, and this one was unique. It's pretty hard to understand the language, because they used classic literature. But it's exciting because I understand the movie even though I got a hard time for getting it. At first I just smirked and laughed because the set was so ugly, but the story was remarkable. I gave it 7 for a great piece of Shakespeare.

I can't deny the great acting of Johnny Depp, and off course the great Christian Bale which i adore very much..
But the story wass just so boring, don't like the plot, i don't blame the movie
It was based on true story..
I've heard that the detective died because of suicide....wew, what a shock!
