Plot:

My Comment:
What I like about Chinese movies is they can bring tears to my eyes. Every Chinese movie has their own story to sadden the audiences. This movie had its serious scenes, funny scenes, and hardcore action scenes. It's almost perfect. But, it was predictable, the story was ordinary. And most of the casts have played in the same movies before or have played in many Chinese movies, so I got bored with the casts.

My Comment:
It was supposed to be "Kung-Fu Kid, not Karate Kid". We're talking about nationality and culture, so you have to make the title correctly and off course it was a big hit regarding this movie's title. That's the main thing that i don't like about this movie. Is this movie trying to be the continuity of the original Karate Kid? I gotta tell you, it's way different.
The kung-fu was great, but i think this movie was trying to get the sensitive side not the action side..., and the sensitive side, was not too good.
Overall, it was nice, good education for kids... But not good for culture knowledge... wooh

My Comment:
I hadn't known how this movie would be like before i watched it. At first it was like a serious war that happened in China's history. Then it turned out to be a comedy, then there was drama, and a sad ending. What a movie! It was a serious funny movie (is it the right explanation?).
Well, some scenes were hilarious, just like old Jackie, and Lee Hom was pretty hot. However, this movie was only 90 minutes, but why i experienced it long? And a bit bored?

My Comment:

Awful! Jackie's act was really bad! Compared to Rush Hour, it was wayyy different.
So many forceful jokes, therefore i wanted to stop watching, but it was Jackie, i'm a huge fan. I kept on watching because of him.
Maybe kids like this movie, because i think this movie was made for children.
Oh yeah, the guy who played the bad guy, i just realized that he was the one who appeared in children tv show, the jumping man (i forgot the name of the tv show), he looked different without mustache.
